2026/27 ACVIM-Approved Cardiology Residency & Internship – Applications Open
Veterinary Cardiologists Australia (VCA) is offering a position for a three-year American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM)-approved cardiology residency training program beginning in August 2026 or August 2027, pending prior completion of a speciality cardiology internship.
An internship position beginning on April 27th, 2026 is also being offered. The intention is that the successful internship applicant will transition to the residency position.
The trainee will work closely with three ABVC-registered specialist cardiologists (ACVIM and FANZCVS-qualified), two senior ACVIM-enrolled residents-in-training and a fellow cardiology intern, within a dedicated state-of-the-art cardiology-only referral hospital in Brisbane.
