VCA’s Official Open Night

Veterinary Cardiologists Australia (VCA) officially opened its purpose-built cardiology hospital with a special evening of celebration on Monday, 25 August. The event marked a milestone not only for the VCA team but also a valuable networking opportunity for the wider veterinary community, as colleagues, family, friends, and industry partners came together to share in the occasion.

Guests were welcomed into the new hospital for guided tours showcasing its state-of-the-art facilities, including the advanced imaging suite, hybrid surgical theatre, and intensive care unit. The evening provided a rare opportunity for visitors to see first-hand the level of innovation and care that defines VCA’s approach to veterinary cardiology.

Drs Brad Gavaghan and Fiona Meyers, along with the VCA team, expressed their gratitude for the support shown on the night. “This opening is a very special moment in our careers,” they said. “Being able to share it with colleagues, family, good friends, and our incredible team made for a truly memorable evening.”

The celebration brought together the people who have shaped VCA to this point, signalling the future of veterinary cardiology in Australia. With a steadfast mission to set new standards in patient care and collaboration, VCA’s new hospital represents an exciting step forward for pets, their families, and the veterinary professionals.
